About | Illias Works

Ilias was born in 1969 in France, and has lived in France, Italy, India, and Germany. He has resided and worked in Berlin for the last two decades.

He works on archetypes :

illustrations of the indian epics

Mahabharata,

contemporary music and video project

on the fragments of Heraclitus

(in colaboration

with the composer Patrick Portella),

videos around the lives of the saints

inspired by the Golden Legend by Jacobus de Voragine,

illustrations of the Stories or Tales from Past Times, with Morals by Charles Perrault (1628-1703) which inspired among others the Grimm brothers.
